Colors! Twitter is great for insta-prompts. Asked for a color and got four. jitterro said Burnt Orange, stardiver said Green, Drew (I'd link his journal(s) but he doesn't use it anymore) said Pink, and Ali (no journal) said Mauve. Once I decided to go with different toys, it was fun deciding which ones to use :D

Too bad I don't have Cloud Puff here, she's the first thing that pops into my mind when I hear the color "mauve". She's mauve to the core. Slugger, probably not so much, but that's the closest I could get. Vulpix is probably not really burnt orange, but colors are subjective, right? Army man for green and Love-A-Lot Bear for pink (it was almost Cheer Bear, but meh).

So, this past April, we had a big golf tournament, complete with door prizes and prizes for getting closest to the hole, longest put, etc. etc. Dude won these things here (various ways) and has yet to collect them. It's not that we haven't tried. Lord knows we have. Lewis had a phone conversation with him today and it is clear the dude doesn't care. Lewis is just going to drop it off at his house tomorrow and we'll be done.

As Jason says, if dude doesn't have it now, there are other people (he and I included) that would love to have that stuff (if not to own, to sell) :D

Last lab and it's the human evolution lab. Lots of pretty skulls to show the students. Don't worry, none of them are real. I probably couldn't handle it if they were real. I really don't do well with human anything. Too close to home I think. Conversely, I have no desire to learn anything about how humans evolved.

Ok, I lied. There is one real skull in this bunch, bet you can't guess which one.

The stuff I have at the apartment is much less than what we have at home. Can't say my apartment looks fantastic when it's all up, but it makes me happy :) Do need more stuff that's not MLP or reindeer.

The family wanted to see The Beatles Rockband, so we all went to Seth's place to play for a little bit. I had Mom take some pictures while we were rocking out, and I really love this one of Seth and I...even though it looks like I'm eating the microphone O.o

We feed the neighborhood squirrels. We have to if we want to feed the neighborhood birds as well. This is the dominant squirrel, Whitenose. His whole nose is white and I think he's the dominate one because he was picked on as a kid.

There's another squirrel that has a little white around the nose, I'm betting they are related. I also bed that if we wait long enough, UC will be known for white squirrels as well as Kenton :D

It's UTM's very own body farm! Only this is pig style. Now that the GGP...er, GG department is part of the Ag school, Gibson has gotten his mitts on pigs so he can run some taphonomy studies (i.e. see what happens to the pigs after death based on the way they were (or weren't) buried). I think he said he has about 45 pigs in different states of decomposition...or rather different ways they are allowed to decompose. Some are just laying out (the mesh bags have pigs in open air) some are under soil, sand, rubble, lava rock, the two clear tubs have water in them with a pig (one 'died' in salt water, the other in pond water) and...probably other things as well. Kind of interesting, and thankfully, the day was cool so there was no smell.

Gandalf has had it rough with Loki, so he's been spending much of his time upstairs. This is a cat that loves to be loved and given attention to, so he's been starved for it since the dog came. Drew was happy to give him some much needed love.

As I exited Lexington, the sun was going down, dying the sky in a pinkish glow, and I looked up to see...a brittle star in the clouds. Ok, I'm probably the only one that sees it, but it's there.

One of the PRT cars apparently stopped working today. Broken car, not broken down system. So, all the kids got to climb out and walk the track. Perfect for a picture :D

Today was dinosaur day in lab, so I got hold of the large-ish Tyrannosaurus rex skull to take upstairs to help facilitate in the drawing of the skulls. He was fun to have sitting on my desk briefly.

I later knocked out the two bottom front teeth. Oops. I'm gonna take in super glue tomorrow, fix it and apologize to Kammer (maybe not in that order, but whatever).

Somewhere between Master's place and the turnpike, there is a very colorful building that is a strip club. I tried for a picture of all the stipey-stripes while I was at the stoplight, but the lighting was crap, so I tried to get a pic as I drove by. Not easy, but I'm quite excited the mermaid came out :D

Walking to the theatre Saturday, we passed this building (later I learned it was the Westin building when we walked by it going to Penn Station). I thought it looked kinda cool what with the colors and all.
