I was supposed to go home today. That didn't happen. This would be why. Snow. Lots of it. I grumbled and moaned about it until I went to check the mail. Then I was just giddy and happy. I can't stay mad at snow when I'm walking in it. It sure is pretty. At this point, it was about 6 inches deep. Sure makes the trees behind the strip club look nice.

This bag holds all the Christmas presents I have thus far acquired. Is yours in it?

Christmas cookie time! I had fun baking while listening to Christmas music all afternoon. I'm all for Christmas this year, but not so much the shopping. I have no idea what to get people and I'm seriously just thinking of gift-carding everyone (lame, I know). Or maybe I'll bake cookies for everyone, just like I did the boys (and give gift cards, unlike the boys).

I like bathrobes. I really do. I only own two because I can't logically qualify having more than two, but every time I see a comfy looking bathrobe, I covet it. Not sure why, it's an absolutely strange thing to be 'addicted' to, but there you have it.

The blue one is my true bathrobe, the one I use when I get out of the shower in the mornings. The white one is so soft and fuzzy and warm, that I put it on during the winter to stay toasty cozy. In fact, I'm wearing it now (ok, I did just get out of the bath too, but I'm very bundled up, even under the robe).

A short one would be nice for the summers, since big blue can get very warm, but as I say, I talk myself out of it every time I see one.

Today, while looking at my crinoids, I took some time out (more than I probably should have) to see my ring up close and personal. Opal sure is pretty. This was my grandmother's ring. I don't wear it often, mainly because I usually wear silver things and not gold (or really a copper color, which I realized today as I was eyeing my ring). But today seemed like a good day to wear it. :)

I've needed something next to the front door for shoes. The shoe racks available were too big or I didn't like them. So, I went with a small bookcase, figuring that would work just fine. It does! Hopefully now my shoes won't pile up in front of the door. I have a bad habit of not walking them back to the bedroom where they belong, so things get a bit messy.

This is also the bookshelf that didn't want to get put together. I kept screwing it up. First I had the bottom panel on backwards so right as I got it all screwed in, I realized the finished sides did not mesh up, so I had to undo and redo. Went to put on the top panel when I realized that I had things backwards and what I had *thought* was the bottom panel was, but it was at the top side of the edge. So, had to unscrew that first panel AGAIN and redo it all. Grrr. I can be very stupid sometimes.

Colors! Twitter is great for insta-prompts. Asked for a color and got four. [info]jitterro said Burnt Orange, [info]stardiver said Green, Drew (I'd link his journal(s) but he doesn't use it anymore) said Pink, and Ali (no journal) said Mauve. Once I decided to go with different toys, it was fun deciding which ones to use :D

Too bad I don't have Cloud Puff here, she's the first thing that pops into my mind when I hear the color "mauve". She's mauve to the core. Slugger, probably not so much, but that's the closest I could get. Vulpix is probably not really burnt orange, but colors are subjective, right? Army man for green and Love-A-Lot Bear for pink (it was almost Cheer Bear, but meh).

Hee.

My little Christmas tree. It's small, and purple, but it brings me joy. Or, maybe it's just because I like MLPs so much :D

The stuff I have at the apartment is much less than what we have at home. Can't say my apartment looks fantastic when it's all up, but it makes me happy :) Do need more stuff that's not MLP or reindeer.

Molly seemed blissfully unaware of her fate as I packed. Perhaps she thought I was just going to leave her. Perhaps not.

I like this picture because Molly seems very flat. Like a flat ball of fur with a head pasted on front. Or maybe that's just me.

I like when Drew randomly surprises me with IMs :) We had a little chat and since it is such a rare feat, I decided to document it.

And, so you know, never ask a slightly inebriated Drew for picture ideas, you might not like his ideas (though picture of my underwear drawer isn't nearly as bad as I thought he would say)

This is my turtle. It's a unicorn, because I don't see why something called a unicorn has to always be a horse (or horse-like) because uni- = one and corn = horn, therefore, so long as an animal has one horn, it can be considered a unicorn. So... :P

Anyway, this was one of the first things we made in ceramics class my last semester at Martin. I real like him. :) (I even put wings on his shell, if you can see them)

I've seen this warning before, but never actually in the game itself...or before the game begins, whatever. Usually it's just in the booklet. Guess it's a good way to figure out if you have epileptic tendencies.

Cute Ratchet is cute.

AHH! MONSTER! MONSTER BEHIND THE DOOR!

From Extras

Oh, it's just Molly. Silly Molly.

Can't believe I've made yet another 100 days...or that my 100 day picture is Molly again. Hee.

I was looking through things this morning and I happened upon this box of candles. I became unbelievably excited about it, having completely forgotten about it through the passage of time. This box of candles was given to me by Drew for high school graduation, with a very specific warning label. This is so full of Drew it's not even funny.

All these candles are the original ones in the box, minus the holders which I'm sure were used to to play a game of Nightmare. There are a multitude of other candles underneath the top layer, I'm sure purchased for Nightmare :D

If you wanna know what the warning label is, simply go here :) (unless you follow me on Twitter, then you've probably already seen it)

Figured I haven't done a self-portrait in a while. People might be forgetting what I look like. Molly was an unwilling participant.

This unappetizing mess is actually cookie dough. Weird, ya? Ya. Unfortunately, it remains unappetizing, but nothing much I can do about that now. All I can hope is that the boys like it.

Went over to Tudek's tonight to just chill, play some Wii Sports and watch some MST3K. He warned me before that he didn't have much to drink and said I might want to bring my own. So I did. Caffeine Free Dr. Pepper for the win!
